Hey AIESEC!

De Vuelta y Vuelta

It's Getting around to be a pretty interesting wekeend

It started on thursday: cool telematics class "to translate or not to translate technical words" the teacher is funny and the room specially theatrical. Got out of class round' 8pm... and out of nowhere ... "quien dijo cervezita ..." (¿who said beer?) and of course ...... 6 hours and 10 tirulinas later heading home in a cab.

Friday: thank god i don't have classes today :s, made phone calls, finally got my appointments for next week: the mayor's press director (Getting Aiesec on Regional Tv :) ) and the director of the gymnastics league (earning some extra money by making a 3d model)... ran some errands, worked a lil' on the family project (i'll tell you guys about it later :P).
Later on I went to my friends place to see the video of our last end-of-semester trip, AKA the 8030 trip (our university code: 8 for electronics, 03 for the year we started and 0 for the first semester), it was H I L A R I O U S : to see yourself doing stupid things on tv is really funny, for instance: playing volleyball ... at 2am ... in a pool ..... under the rain ... and having carajillo (coffee with rum) ... casual.
During the night, serenade to my grandma for her eighty bday :)
Then i talked with my cuz and bro till' 4am, we discussed socialism and capitalism...

Saturday: Woke up late, read emails, had the car washed and went to the @ assembly ( AAAaa!! i just remembered i was suposed to send some outputs.....).
Then came home and changed into formal outfit (yes..... tie again.... for the fourth time this week... i hate it) so i could go for my grandma's mass, dinner, presentation and party. It was great!, the food was great :), my mom made a presentation with pictures of Gise (my grandma) at all stages in her life that was nice, really funny to see my uncles and aunts with their funny 80's clothes, mustaches and afros.
Then a nice family party, the thing is Gise had 8 childs, so she has 16 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren.... I love it when family gets toghether.... amazingly fun :)
Went to bed at 4:30am..

Sunday: Woke up at noon, and went for lunch in my school, they had this big festival going on because of the school's week.... its weird to go back to school... so many memories... certain places you don't even remember but you walk by and get an old feeling, lots of nostalgia (yup.... i'm highly nostalgic). the school facilities went under extreme makeover nothing is where it's supposed to. and yet the same feeligs got stuck in the right places. the more things change the more they stay the same....

Went to my other grandma's place to visit. A kitten went into their house :) but my uncle says he hates cats, and wont let him stay... the kitty is nice, around 1 month old, but his tail bones were broken and healed wrong so his tail is twisted, poor guy, it has been rough for him since he was born, you can tell, he is skinny and has nutrition issues... but he is incredibly full of life and filled with the will to live it. he will grab onto life.
So, after convincing and negotiating we got the cat permission to live on that house till wednesday.... i'm officially looking for a house for him!. But maybe they'll start caring about the cat and keep it (i liked him)... i hope so... anyway i won't let him go back on the streets.
